Other Precautions
Do one or more of the following before you take your boat to another water body:
- SPRAY it with high pressure to remove stuck AIS
- RINSE it with very hot water: These water temperatures kill zebra mussels and some other AIS:
- 140°F for at least 10 seconds
- 120°F for at least 2 minutes
- DRY the boat for at least 5 days
